Description
Medtronic Premium Plus CEEA™ Staplers
The Premium Plus CEEA™ stapler places a circular, double staggered row of titanium staples. The instrument is activated by squeezing the handles firmly as far as they will go. Immediately after staple formation, the knife blade resects the excess tissue, creating a circular anastomosis.
The diameter of the staple line is determined by the selection of the 34 mm, 31 mm, 28 mm, 25 mm, or 21 mm stapler. The Tilt-Top™ anvil is permanently affixed to the center rod and cannot be removed. It is available on the 34, 31, 28 and the 25 mm staplers. The anvil on the 21 mm does not have the Tilt-Top™ anvil feature.
(All references to the Tilt-Top™ anvil refers only to the 34, 31, 28, 25 instrument sizes)
