With the HARMONIC ACE+ Shears, Adaptive Tissue Technology delivers greater precision by regulating energy delivery when needed, providing:

HARMONIC® Technology is unique in the way it operates and performs, offering a degree of precision and multifunctionality found in no other energy-based surgical device. Electrical energy is converted to mechanical energy. The blade vibrates at 55,500 times a second to simultaneously coagulate and cut tissue. This reduces tissue to a sticky coagulum, sealing vessel walls.

HARMONIC ACE®+ Specifications
HARMONIC ACE®+ Shears are a sterile, single-patient-use device consisting of an ergonomic grip housing assembly and two hand-controlled power settings. The grip housing includes an integrated audible/tactile mechanism indicating full closure. HARMONIC ACE+ Shears are indicated for use in soft tissue incisions when bleeding control and minimal thermal injury are desired.
