Description

Medtronic NC-2-6-HELIX ev3 Axium MicroFX Nylon Detachable Embolization Coil System

The Axium MicroFX™ coil is designed to reduce blood flow across aneurysms and offers an alternative to bare coils in treating intracranial aneurysms.

Axium™ MicroFX™ coils are intended for the endovascular embolization of intracranial aneurysms. Axium™ MicroFX™ coils are also intended for the embolization of other neurovascular abnormalities such as arteriovenous malformations and arteriovenous fistulae. The coils are designed with polymer-fibers for rapid occlusion – microfilaments are designed to significantly impact flow reduction and accelerate thrombosis.
