Medtronic INFUSE® Bone Graft is recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2 (rhBMP-2) applied to an absorbable collagen sponge (ACS) carrier that localizes the rhBMP-2 at the site of implantation and resorbs over time. One of the functions of the protein is to stimulate bone formation
