Thin, transparent film scaffolding device with laser micro-perforations that is useful in surgical repairs, such as:
- Covering exposed ear canal walls
- Reconstruction of the tympanic membrane when used with fascia or other tissue graft techniques
- Lining the mastoid cavity
Designed to aid in the healing process following surgery by facilitating drainage of exu- date at the surgical site and serving as a matrix for cell migration
Typically dissolves in 6-8 weeks
