Chocolate XD® PTCA Balloon Catheter
The Chocolate XD® PTCA Balloon Catheter is a specialty angioplasty balloon, used in the pre-dilation and treatment of coronary lesions. The balloon’s proprietary nitinol constraining structure creates “pillows” and “grooves” that are designed to provide predictable, uniform, and atraumatic dilatation. The “pillows” are designed to provide predictable vessel dilatation without cutting or scoring, and the “grooves” allow for stress relief, potentially minimizing the traumatic angioplasty effect.
