Description

AxoGen AG0740 AxoGuard Nerve Protector Cook Biotech

The AxoGuard Nerve Protector is a porcine-derived extracellular matrix (ECM) implant designed to protect injured peripheral nerves and reinforce nerve reconstruction while preventing soft tissue attachments. Its multi-laminar ECM structure provides a protective barrier, minimizing the potential for soft tissue attachment and nerve entrapment by physically isolating the nerve during the healing process. The SIS material allows for cell infiltration and vascularization, gradually remodeling and incorporating into the patient’s own tissue. The AxoGuard Nerve Protector is provided sterile and in a variety of sizes to meet surgical and anatomical needs.
