Preclinical data show that a hollow core allows tissue ingrowth through the fastener. The 5mm depth of tissue purchase and consistent thread diameter from head to tip assure optimal tissue engagement during open and laparoscopic procedures. The PermaFix™ Permanent Fixation System has a 5mm, low-profile delivery system that offers smooth, efficient deployment. Keeping track of the pre-loaded 15 or 30-fastener configurations is simple with an easy-to-see fastener gauge.
